How do I get in touch?

What are the costs?

How do I find the field?

As you enter the Crockstead Farm estate from the A22 drive down about 50m to the signposted guest car park on your left. Park up here, grab your stuff and head across the drive you just drove down to find a path following the sign to Crockstead Fields main entrance. Continue along this following the signs, round to the right, through the tree lined path and round a couple more bends and you will find a wooden bridge ahead which leads you to the event field. By taking the left path here you can make your way up to the campsite.

Can I get there via public transport?

Yes. Bus route 54 comes from Uckfield in one direction and Eastbourne the other, with a full list of stops available to view on the Stagecoach website. The SANDHILL LANE stop brings you to a 5 minute walk from the site entrance. The walk to site is along the A22 so please be careful of cars and avoid making the trip in the dark. When coming by Bus from Brighton you will need to change in Uckfield to get the 54.

If using train the closest stations are Lewes and Uckfield. Lewes is an easier connecting station but is about 15 mins by car from the site, whereas Uckfield is a mere 5. We would advise booking taxi’s in advance when arriving in either locations

What’s local to the site?

The site is well placed for lots of great walks, details of which can be found here.

There are some great places to eat and drink in the surroudnig areas but these will for the most part require use of a car. Exceptions to that rule are Staverton Nursery which is just down the road and good for cafe food and basic supplies, and The Blacksmith’s arms which is a cosy pub just another 5 mins walk in the same direction. For anything else Uckfield is a 5 min drive and has plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants.

Can I bring my dog?

Crockstead Fields is located on working farmland and therefore we regrettably can’t allow dogs onsite unless they are registered guide dogs.

CAMPING

What time can I check into my bell tent?

Check in time is from 3pm on the day of your arrival. Your tent will be labelled with your name and you will be provided a code to unlock the main zip.

What time do I have to be off site from?

Check out time is 11am. If you need a late check out foir any reason please get in touch and we’ll see what we can sort out for you.

Can I shower on site?

Yes we have 3 gas powered hot showers for you to use in the main campsite. The yurts and cabin have their own private showers.

Can I play music in my tent?

The cut off for amplified music is 10pm on site. We ask that you are respectful of other people staying within close proximity to you.

How do I get into my yurt?

All details for accessing your yurt is on the welcome document that you should have received while booking. If you do not have this to hand please use the contact form at the bottom of the page or call 07775870123 and we’ll be able to assist.

How long do we get the site for?

All Wedding Festival bookings are Fri 09:00 – Sun 15:00. We do not offer the site for mid-week weddings. Lifestyle Retreats vary per event and Camping Adventures are either Fri 09:00 – Sun 15:00 or Sat 09:00 – Sun 15:00

Can we get legally married on site?

Yes, our Pagoda is licensed for wedding ceremonies. We ask all couples to arrange their own marriage officiant.

Can I bring my dog?

Crockstead Fields is situated on working farmland and therefore regrettably we cannot allow dogs onsite, except registered guide dogs.

Can my friend bring their camper van?

 All vehicles must be left in the car park at the top of site (about 5 min walk to the main field). Camper vans are not permitted in the main field or camping field.

What do we do if it rains?

Our marquees create excellent canopies for indoor space and our ceremony area can be covered with a large parachute for wedding ceremonies.

How many guests can we have?

The Wedding Festival package can host up to 150 guests, seated on round tables in the main marquee. We allow for a further 50 guests in the evening.

Lifestyle Retreat weekends are focused on one-to-one time with our instructors and therapists and are therefore limited to 30 guests per weekend.

Camping Adventure bookings are flexible, please speak to a member of the team.

Can I use my own caterer?

Yes, you are more than welcome to use your own caterer for Wedding Festival and Camping Adventure bookings. Lifestyle Retreats are all-inclusive of plant-based meals.

Can we do BYOB?

We do offer BYOB for Wedding Festival bookings with a corkage fee of £1500. Alternatively, we operate a fully licensed bar

For Camping Adventures BYOB is permitted, please speak to a member of the team to discuss prior to your visit.

Can we have a live band?

You certainly can. Amplified music must end at 23:00 and is only permitted on one night of your stay. We suggest all bands supply their own PA system as our Bluetooth speaker system is designed for playlists and DJ’s.

For Camping Adventure bookings, a Temporary Events Notice may be required to accommodate a live band. A member of the team will be able to advise upon booking.

What time does the bar shut?

Our licensed bar shuts at 00:00 on Saturday and 22:00 Friday. We kindly request all guests respect our neighbors after this time.

What are your payment terms?

For all events we take a £1000 save the date / security deposit then 50% 6 months prior and the final settlement 1 month prior. Your security deposit is on top of your event hire fee and will be returned within 7 working days upon successful handover of the site.
