FESTIVAL WEDDINGS

We are well versed in running fun, laid back and unique wedding events. By offering total flexibility and working hand in hand with you we are confident in delivering on your vision. With all of the necessary elements in place to get your party off the ground, you will find joy in focusing on the enjoyable elements of wedding planning, leaving the rest to us.

THE SITE

The Crockstead Fields experience starts from the moment you leave our parking area. Take a short stroll down the tree-lined avenue and across the bridge to our main event field. Walking across here on an event day you will be greeted by the site of a large canvas marquee to your right, fire pit to your left and a fantastic Oak shaded natural amphitheater in front of you.

Head over here to find the hub of the operation, our lovely wooden Pagoda, fully licensed for your ceremony, with seating for your guests under the Oak canopy in front of it. Coloured bunting and flowers line a coconut matt walkway up to the Pagoda steps and behind you is our woodland cocktail bar and seating area.

Just round the back of this section you can find our campsite, with compost toilets, hot showers, running water and a selection of fun seating areas. Within the campsite will be your wedding bell tent village with a central 8m tent offering plenty of space for your guests to lounge around in if they want to step away from the main event field.

MARQUEE

Our fantastic Petal Pole marquee is a modernized version of an old classic - 3 large central wooden poles hold up a tapered 5m high ivory canvas, propped up by wooden poles lining the outside walls.

Inside you will find a coconut matt lined floor, seating and tables for up to 150 guests, a parquet dance floor, wooden bar and bamboo shade lighting. Decor options are at your disposal but generally we find some simple foliage around the central poles and on tables makes for a fantastic reflection of the natural field surroundings.

CATERING 

Our sister company Shibui Cafe has been catering events alongside us for years. They have developed a range of menus suited to the ethos of the site; You won’t find 3 course silver service numbers here.

The style of cooking is all about bringing people together in a fun and relaxed setting, offering up big bold flavours that stand out from your average wedding breakfast. Menus range from Indian feasts served from bamboo platters and coconut shells to Mexican street food, tapas style, or vegetarian buffets presented in a unique manner on our uniquely decorated tiered stations.

Catering options extend from the main meal to evening pizzas, sunday breakfast baps and intimate Friday night meals in the campsite for your nearest and dearest. While we have many options covered here you are also welcome to bring in any supplier of your choice - we have worked with some fantastic people in the past and would be happy to pass on a recommendation.

ACCOMMODATION

Boy do we have some fun options for you here. Included in your package are 2 bohemian yurts which sleep up to 4 guests and come complete with wood burning stoves, fire pits, a private toilet , shower and catering facilities. For those looking for something even more luxurious, there is an option to add on our brand new luxury, self-contained eco cabin. This sleeps up to 4 guests in boutique-hotel style accommodation. Both the yurts and cabin have their own private spaces away from the main campsite.

When it comes to your guests we have the aforementioned bell tent village lined up in our conveniently located campsite field. Each tent comes fully dressed with table, cushions, lighting and beds and bedding for up to 4 guests. We have 10 bell tents up and ready for use and can bring more in if needed. Your guests can book these directly following a link we will create specifically for your wedding.

If none of these options are suitable for certain members of the party there are some fantastic hotels nearby, or guests are welcome to bring their own tents (we also have a limited number of spaces for campervans)

ENTERTAINMENT

By day we have you covered on the ice breakers, with crazy golf, croquet, a photobooth and various other pockets of fun for your wedding guests. Outside of this we can arrange full on party games or perhaps hire you in a bouncy castle or bucking bronco.

Our music license runs till 11pm, which may seem early but you will have packed in a serious amount of fun by this time. Anyway, following on from this it’s highly recommended you roll with the silent disco option and keep partying well into the wee hours.

We have a fully staffed bar which runs till midnight and a woodland cocktail bar which opens up later in the evening. When the sun goes down we get the fire pit lit up and guests flock to here or one of our other little snugs located around the site. A range of festoon and coloured floodlights keep the field alive and kicking till your final retreat to slumber.

SITE DECOR

We were born in the festival world so you can be damn sure we’re not gonna let our weddings pass by without some serious attention to decor. This side of things has been developing over the years and we are very excited with our new additions coming into 2023.

The main site is decorated with festival flags, bunting, lighting and bespoke seating areas. We have some quality colour themes in play now, offering a range of styles to give you a bit of choice for making your event unique.

Within the marquee we have table runners and centerpieces matched up to the colour schemes out in the field and various other titbits for you to choose from. We can assist further with sign writing and other elements totally specific to your event.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

We do as much as we can on site towards your event but for everything else we have an ever expanding selection of trusty suppliers we have worked with over the years.  This lot have not made it onto the list lightly and come with our highest recommendations. Anything that grabs your interest from the list just let us know and we’ll do the leg work in linking you with the supplier and arranging delivery and collection of kit from the site.
