A Family-Friendly Music, Arts & Wellness Festival in Sussex

Next May marks Year Four of the Crockstead Weekender, and we’re coming back with fresh energy, new friends on board and loads of exciting additions. Expect a tight, family-friendly crowd, brilliant music, great food and drink, and three days packed with entertainment. From acoustic acts, DJs and wellness classes to fancy dress, kids’ parades, cinema screenings and garden games, there’s plenty to keep you happy and busy all weekend.

Music: Marquee & Late-Night Sessions

For 2026 we’re expanding and refining our on-site areas.

Our Main Marquee will be completely music-led, opening from 11am with a daytime progression of soul, funk, trip-hop and Latin rhythms, rolling into disco, house and techno until 11pm. After that, the silent disco takes over, rinsing out drum & bass, garage and more until the dancefloor finally empties.

Acoustic, Comedy & Cinema at the Pagoda

The Pagoda Stage will host a range of acoustic acts across Saturday and Sunday, interspersed with stand-up comedy and spoken word. We’re adding plenty of new seating, making it the perfect daytime hangout—grab a cocktail from the Woodland Bar and enjoy the entertainment.

After dark, the Pagoda transforms into our open-air cinema, featuring double-bill screenings on both Saturday and Sunday nights.

Wellness & Creative Spaces

Our Wellness Tent is expanding into a full creative area this year, complete with a chillout café, meditation yurt, sauna tent and a dedicated space for classes throughout the weekend.

It’s an ideal spot for early risers, offering kids’ music sessions, morning yoga and a breakfast café serving fresh coffee and morning bites.

Kids’ Activities & Sunday Fancy Dress

Children will have loads to keep them entertained. Each day we’ll run arts, crafts and games in our 8m bell tent, plus sports-day challenges and activities in the main field. From 6pm we’ll screen kid-friendly films.

The Sunday fancy-dress theme is SPACE. We’ll decorate the field for the kids’ parade, host costume-making sessions beforehand and finish with a big dance-up at the Pagoda.

Food, Drink & the Legendary Friday Curry

We’re excited to welcome Dedbest Distillery back to run our main bar, serving cracking local drinks straight from the Marquee.

Fresh salad boxes for lunch

Pizza, pasta and loaded fries from our food van for lunch and dinner

On Friday evening we’ll host our big sit-down curry, open to everyone who arrives in time—details coming soon.
